Government should Restore the Recruitment of JBT, The Union Demanded Relief From CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu

In the Education Department of Himachal Pradesh, the demand for starting JBT commission and recruitment on batch-wise basis has arisen once again. In this regard, a delegation of JBT met Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and raised the demand to start these recruitments.

In fact, soon after coming to power, the new government had talked about reviewing the decisions of the last six months in all the departments, for which this process of recruitment was also stopped. Now approval will have to be taken from the cabinet of the new government for these recruitments.

The process of JBT Batchwise Recruitment was also started after a lot of effort from the candidates. JBT and B.Ed are currently fighting on commission basis and this matter is in the court, because HP Board had declared B.Ed also eligible for TET exam,

but before this dispute arose, batch-wise recruitment was done on the demand of the candidates. The process of recruitment was started district wise, but now this process of recruitment has stopped.

JBT recruitments could not be done in schools for the last four years and now when the new government will form the cabinet, only after that it will be decided when these recruitments will happen. There are no teachers in the schools of the state to teach pre-primary and primary children for the last four years.

This is directly affecting the education of the children. 3495 posts of JBT i.e. Junior Basic Teacher are vacant in the primary schools of the entire state. In such a situation, these schools are running without primary teachers.

For the last four years, demands are being made to fill the vacant posts in the schools, but till now these posts have not been filled. Most of the posts are vacant in district Kangra. There are 647 vacancies going on here.

Along with this, Mandi is second in vacant posts. In JBT recruitments on commission basis, it is yet to be seen whether BEd people are allowed or not.
