The SIU team of District Kullu Police has arrested a person with Charas. The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act at Bhuntar police station and are continuing further action.
Confirming the matter, Senior Superintendent of Police Kullu Gurdev Sharma said that the SIU team of the police was on patrol at a place named Khodaage ahead of Gadsa.
Meanwhile, a person was coming on foot at a distance of 300 meters ahead of Khoda. Seeing the car, the person immediately threw the carry bag he was holding in his left hand towards the bushes and pile of mud on the other side of the road.
SIU team immediately overpowered the person on suspicion and when searched the carry bag thrown in the bushes, 720 grams of charas was recovered. Charas has been recovered from 38-year-old Poshu Ram resident of Shogi district Kullu.
