Both Ends of the Second Major Tunnel of the Bhanupalli-Berry Rail line will Meet in the Year 2024.

Both ends of the second major tunnel of the Bhanupalli-Bilaspur-Berry rail line of strategic importance will be connected in the year 2024. Excavation of 650 meters of this 2,900-meter-long tunnel has been completed in six months.

The tunnel is being excavated from both the ends. This tunnel is being constructed under the second phase of the project.

One end of the second major tunnel of the Bhanupalli-Bilaspur-Berry rail line is in Jhajjar and the other end is in Mahabali.

Excavation is being done from both the ends of the tunnel. Excavation has been done up to 300 meters from one side and 350 meters from the other side.

Tunnel work started in September. 26 major and minor bridges, and 20 tunnels will be constructed on the Bhanupalli-Bilaspur-Berry railway line.

Work has started on 16 tunnels, out of which both ends of eight tunnels have been found. Tunnel No. 10 is the longest tunnel of the project, which is 3,800 meters.

It is being constructed in Mahla. At the same time, the work of other tunnels is also in full swing. The target to complete this project has been set as March 31, 2025.

The central government is trying to complete this project up to Bilaspur in 2024 itself so that the train can reach here till the Lok Sabha elections.

On the other hand, the officials of Max Infra, the tunnel construction company, said that eight and nine tunnels are being constructed under phase two.

Both ends of the 285-meter-long tunnel number nine have been found. The work of the second major tunnel number eight of the project is going on at a fast pace. This tunnel will be broken through by the year 2024.
