Location
Manali lies between 32.2396 N and 77.1887 E. It is situated 40 km from north of Kullu. Its altitude increase in Old Manali from 5900 ft to 6600 ft.

How to Access
Airways: The nearest airport is Bhuntar located on NH 21. It is located 50 km from south Manali and 10 km from south of Kullu town. The airport is also known as Kullu-Manali airport and has more than a kilometre long runway. Air India and some private airlines have regular flights to the airport.
Train: The nearest narrow gauge railhead is at Joginder Nagar which is 165 kilometer away. The nearest broad gauge rail heads are chandigarh which is 310 km from Manali.
Roadways:By road the distance from Delhi is 570 km and from Shimla the distance is 280 km. HPTDC runs Luxury coach from Shimla to Manali in tourist season.
