Airline company Indigo has started direct flights between the capital Delhi and Kangra.
On Sunday, an Indigo Airlines plane landed at Gaggal airport at 10 am, carrying 67 passengers. As soon as the Indigo plane landed at Gaggal airport, fire engines were greeted with water cannons.
According to information, Union Information and Broadcasting and Youth Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Union Minister of State for Journal VK Singh flagged off Indigo Airlines from Delhi Airport via a virtual medium.
Passengers were received at Gaggal Airport by Acting Airport Director Sanjay Bhardwaj, Air Traffic Incharge Amit Saklani, Senior Manager Shailesh Kumar Singh, Senior Manager, Regional Head of Indigo Airlines Saba Zaidi, and other officers and staff.
67 passengers from Delhi came to Gaggal airport by plane and 56 passengers went to Delhi from there. It may be noted that on Sunday, two new flights of Spice Jet also arrived at Gaggal airport from Delhi. In both the flights, 120 passengers from Delhi arrived at Gaggal airport and 100 passengers went to Delhi.
