High-altitude areas in Himachal Pradesh witnessed mild snowfall, even as minimum temperatures rose by one to two degrees Celsius in most parts of the state, the MeT department said.
Kalpa was the coldest recording a low of 2.2 degrees Celsius, while in Keylong, Bhuntar and Manlai the minimum temperature was 3.4 degrees Celsius, 5.5 degrees Celsius and 5.8 degrees Celsius respectively, it said.
Maximum temperatures also dropped marginally and Una was the hottest with a high of 28.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Sundernagar 27.2 degrees Celsius, Bhuntar 26.3 degrees Celsius, Solan 25.5 degrees Celsius, Shimla 20.6 degrees Celsius.
The local MeT office has predicted dry weather in the region for next six days.
