Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj MLA Kishori Lal said that Paragliding World Cup will be organized in Bir-Billing of Kangra Valley this year so that like in the past, paragliding world cup can be organized in the valley including foreign pilots from every corner of India. Paraglider pilots can participate.
He said that neither national level nor international level paragliding competition could be organized in Bir Billing, the world famous paragliding valley, during the tenure of the BJP government in the last five years, which was not a pleasant thing for the valley.
CPS Kishori Lal said this while addressing the people on Sunday after visiting Gram Panchayat Beed, Gunehad, Chaugan and Kyori.
On reaching Beed, he was warmly welcomed by the people of the four Panchayats and Anurag Sharma, Director of Beed Billing Paragliding Association.
In his address, Kishori Lal said that every possible effort will be made to promote tourism activities in Beed and the government is committed for all possible cooperation to promote tourism activities in this area.
He said that the construction work of road from Beed Billing to Rajgunda would be started and soon this work would also be completed after which tourism in the valley would get further boost.
He called upon the farmers to rear cows of indigenous breed. He said that diseases spread less in indigenous cattle and their milk and milk products are nutritious.
He said that soon bus facility would be started from Beed to Gunehd and soon bus facility would be started for Kyori in the evening.
He donated 5100 rupees for the work of Sat Vadini Mata Mandir. Kishori Lal planted saplings in Gunehd and Chaugan gram panchayats.
