Former Secretary of Staff Selection Commission will be Prosecuted, the State Government has Given Sanction for Prosecution

In the Junior Office Assistant (JOA) IT paper leak case, the former secretary of Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission Hamirpur will now face trial in the court.

The state government has given prosecution sanction for this. Soon a supplementary challan will be presented by Vigilance.

The responsibility of conducting recruitment examinations rested with the secretary of the commission. The matter is to be heard in the court on March 1.

Vigilance has presented a 626-page preliminary charge sheet against eight accused in the court on February 20.

In this, senior assistant of the commission’s confidential branch Uma Azad, her two sons Nitin and Nikhil, broker Sanjeev Kumar, his brother Shashipal, two candidates Tanu and Ajay Sharma, and another Neeraj Kumar have been made accused.

This paper leak scam was going on in the commission for three years. The secretary of the commission is also under suspicion in the vigilance investigation.

Vigilance had sought permission from the government to prosecute them. Now the government has given sanction to prosecute the officer.

State Public Service Commission is Studying the Government’s Notification

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission is studying the notification of the dissolution of the State Staff Selection Commission on behalf of the State Government.

After that detailed guidelines will be issued in this regard. In the coming days, the State Public Service Commission will consult about this and soon the upcoming process of recruitment will also start.

Commission Secretary DK Ratan said that the existing notification is being studied. Only after that the next recruitment process will also be started.
