Kufri is a small hill station located at a distance of 19 Kilometer from Shimla town. It lies between 31.10°N and 77.25°E.

The nearest airport to Kufri is Jubbarbhatti Airport at Shimla at a distance of about 19 km. Regular flight is available from this airport to Delhi.
The nearest railhead is at Shimla in narrow gauge rail route and Broad Gauge railway station is at Kalka.
Buses link Kufri with Shimla, Narkanda and Rampur. State owned transport buses and private deluxe buses are available from Shimla to Kufri. Private Taxi and Cab services are also available to this place from Shimla and other near-by places.
