Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) is mulling over starting capsule courses for students preparing for National Eligibility Test (NET), State Eligibility Test (SET), Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), banking, journalism, military and paramilitary forces, commerce and management, politics and sports.
Vice-Chancellor, HPU, Prof ADN Bajpai said the courses would polish the skills of students. He laid emphasis on proper monitoring so that maximum funds could be used.
He said books and e-journals in the library should be purchased. Bajpai said the planning board must monitor the progress regularly to provide infrastructure and facilities to day scholars and hostellers.
