Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is returning to Shimla from Delhi on Tuesday morning. He is returning to the capital after a break of about a week.
On reaching Shimla, he will first attend the annual program of Chhota Shimla School, where he himself has studied. After this, the Chief Minister will come to the secretariat and will remain in the secretariat till night.
During this, along with the disposal of pending files, the Chief Minister will talk on the agenda of the cabinet meeting to be held on March 1. In the previous cabinet too, a day before, the Chief Minister had given instructions as to which agenda should be brought in the cabinet.
Only two issues could be discussed in this meeting. In this, one was on the schedule of the budget session of the assembly and the other agenda was regarding the Chief Minister’s Sukh Ashray Scheme.
So many cases are still pending. The NPS employees are waiting for the finalization of the draft of old pension because only after that the gratitude rally for the Chief Minister will be held in Dharamshala.
The cabinet memorandum has also been prepared by the Finance Department. Now only the approval of the Chief Minister is awaited. The cabinet will also decide on the colleges and schools opened during the BJP government.
Due to lack of decision in this, not only the staff appointed in these schools and colleges but also the children are confused about the new admission. The cabinet will also consider the NTT policy.
After disbanding the Hamirpur Staff Selection Commission, the matter of giving Class III vacancies to the Public Service Commission may also come up for agenda in the cabinet.
However, for this, the reply is still awaited from the Public Service Commission. Overall, people have high expectations from this cabinet meeting being held before the budget session.
